It's seven wins from seven now for Shizuoka FC at the top of the Tokai League Division 1, as the Kazu Miura-sponsored side squeezed past Honda Suzuka on Sunday. This keeps the favourites five points in front of neighbours Yazaki Valente, who also managed a narrow victory over bottom side Kasugai Club. The team most likely to give Yazaki any problems in qualifying as runners-up for the end-of-season promotion Play-offs for a JFL spot is yet another team from Shizuoka prefecture - Fujieda City Hall are clear in third position following their defeat of Maruyasu Industries, while in the other fixture of the round the students of Chukyo University beat the deliverymen of Sagawa Kyubin Chukyo.
