Kansai League Division 2
Promoted from the Prefectural Leagues at the end of last year, Hannan University continue to lead Division 2 of the Kansai League and indeed remain undefeated after eight games of the 2007 season. The students could only draw 2-2 at home to Kyoto Shiko Club on Saturday, but their nearest rivals - Takada FC - were unable to close the gap, as they themselves also piicked up a single point with a draw at Kohga School. Riseisha FC stay third after their win at Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Kobe - but the big winners of the weekend were undoubtedly Hermano Osaka, who crushed bottom place Kihoku Football Group 6-1.
