Chugoku League
2007 Chugoku League champions-elect Fagiano Okayama have now scored an astonishing thirty three goals in their last four matches, the lastest obliteration of their opposition coming in the form of a 7-0 thrashing of JFE Steel Western Japan - the Pheasants's tenth consecutive league victory. With FC Central Chugoku not having a game, Sagawa Kyubin Chugoku bounced back after last week's shock defeat at home to Hiroshima Fujita SC, beating Mazda SC 2-1 to go joint third. But in the Yamaguchi derby, Renofa Yamaguchi scored five in the first half to cruise past neighbours Hitachi Manufacturing Kasado stunned their neighbours Renofa Yamaguchi and go second in the table.
