Kansai League Division 1
There was a full programme of games on Saturday in Division 1 of the Kansai League, leaders FC Mi-o Biwako Kusatsu maintaining their 100% record with a 3-0 defeat of FC Kyoto 1993. Three points behind the Shiga club are champions Banditonce Kobe, who ran in four second half goals to crush neighbours Kobe FC 1970 6-1.

Kobe FC in fact drop into the relegation zone as a result of that defeat and of Sanyo Electric Sumoto's win over an FC Glaspo Kashiwara side who already look odds-on to make a swift return to Division 2. Also potentially involved in the battle to avoid the drop, however, are AS Laranja Kyoto, 1-0 losers at home to Ain Food.
