JFL Sunday Scores
JEF Reserves and Mitsubishi Mizushima have a midweek game on Wednesday to look forward to, but otherwise Sunday staged a full programme of JFL fixtures. And Sagawa Kyubin SC held on to top spot with a 4-2 win over bottom side Sony Sendai, Kento Hori scoring his fourth and fifth goals of the season for Sagawa. Rosso Kumamoto would appear well and truly to have bounced back from their losing spell of a few rounds ago and pulled off an excellent 2-0 triumph at Tochigi SC thanks to a goal late in each half.

Dropping back to third are FC Gifu, who drew at Yokogawa Musashino despite taking a first minute lead through Brazilian striker Jorginho, while YKK AP also failed to keep up the pace at the top, going down by the odd goal in three to Toyama prefecture rivals Alo's Hokuriku. The other top half team to take three points were 2006 champions Honda FC, 1-0 winners over an Arte Takasaki side that have found the net just twice in ten matches so far this season.

Closer towards the bottom of the table, Sagawa Printing gained a vital win at FC Ryukyu to climb towards safety thanks to Shintaro Hirai's score thirteen minutes from time. Sagawa are followed up the division by FC Kariya, who came from behind to grab a 3-2 win over Ryutsu Keizai University. But Gainare Tottori are still unable to turn draws into wins - essentially the same problem they had last year - and continue to struggle with a 1-1 tie at home to TDK SC.
