Shikoku League Promotion / Relegation Play-offs
四国サッカーリーグ 入替戦

The first leg of one of the Shikoku League Promotion / Relegation Play-off ties was staged as scheduled over the weekend, with Kochi's Sanwa Club shrugging off a terrible 2006 league campaign to thrash Hisaeda FC from Ehime prefecture 5-0. This scoreline means that barring a huge upset in the second leg this coming weekend, Sanwa will hold on to their Regional League place for what would be a seventh year.

The other match scheduled for Sunday, however, was postponed. It is understood that Alex SC, the Tokushima-based club who finished next-to-bottom in the Shikoku League in 2006, will instead take on Kagawa representatives Minami Club this weekend.
