Following on from Sunday's games there is now only one more fixture remaining in the Tohoku League Division 1 - this coming weekend's encounter between champions TDK Akita and NEC Tokin. NEC confirmed their third-place finish with a 1-1 draw at FC Primeiro, while Grulla Morioka strolled to a comfortable 4-1 victory over relegated Nippon Steel Kamaishi. The key scoreline of the round, however, was undoubtedly Sendai Nakata Club's win against Wiese Shiogama, which enabled Sendai Nakata to leapfrog both Wiese and Morioka Zebra and so leave the latter facing a play-off to remain in the division.
