With Rosso Kumamoto having won on Saturday, Honda's advantage stands now at three points, while Sagawa move into fourth on goal difference from YKK AP.
On the fringes of the race for the title, Alo's Hokuriku gained a good 3-0 win at Arte Takasaki thanks in part to two goals from Kazuma Matsushita - but Tochigi SC went one better as they put four past Sony Sendai to move up to sixth.
