Any round-up of Sunday's JFL action has to begin with the fourth-against-first clash between Sagawa Kyubin Tokyo and Honda FC, in which Daiju Kawashima's goal eleven minutes from time for leaders Honda gave them a 1-1 draw, after Kento Hori had put Sagawa ahead just before the break. With Rosso Kumamoto having won on Saturday, Honda's advantage stands now at three points, while Sagawa move into fourth on goal difference from YKK AP.
On the fringes of the race for the title, Alo's Hokuriku gained a good 3-0 win at Arte Takasaki thanks in part to two goals from Kazuma Matsushita - but Tochigi SC went one better as they put four past Sony Sendai to move up to sixth. Arte, meanwhile, are finding themselves drawn inexorably into the relegation zone, a situation made more severe by Ryutsu Keizai University's last-minute equaliser at home to Honda Lock. The resulting point saw RKU move above both Arte and JEF Club into twelfth, their highest position to date.
