Kyushu League
The battle at the top of the Kyushu League looks set to continue right through to the end of the season, as all four of the main contenders picked up wins on Sunday. V Varen Nagasaki therefore retain their position as frontrunners, having beaten Osumi NIFS United 1-0 - but they're being chased hard by New Wave Kitakyushu and Nippon Steel Oita, victors over Kaiho Bank SC and Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Nagasaki respectively. Volca Kagoshima did well to beat Okinawa Kariyushi 3-2 and open up a three-point gap as a result, although it could be that the title is beyond them for this season.
