After ten rounds in Division 1 of the Kansai League, most of the excitement now is focused on the two relegation slots, as arguably five of the eight clubs in the division are still under threat of the drop. Bottom now are Takada FC after a narrow home defeat to leaders and likely champions Banditonce Kobe - but AS Laranja Kyoto have a 3-0 win over Kobe FC 1970 to thank for raising themselves up out of the basement, while Kyoto Shiko Club are still in real trouble following their loss to FC Mi-o Biwako Kusatsu. Ain Food boosted their chances of staying up by beating Sanyo Electric Sumoto 4-0, their best result of the season.
