It was a case of top against bottom in round 8 of the Shikoku League on Sunday, as the first four teams took on the lowlier rivals - and steamrollered over them. Kamatamare Sanuki recovered from their first defeat of the season two weeks ago to beat Ehime's Ventana AC 4-0, the same scoreline as Nangoku Kochi's win over Tokushima Vortis Amateur. Ehime Shimanami keep up the pressure on Kamatamare thanks to a 6-0 pasting of Alex SC, but the biggest winning margin of the day - and indeed of the season so far - was at Sanwa Club, where the home side were on the receiving end of an 8-0 romp by Sanyo Electric Tokushima.
