Chugoku League
Another sensational result involving Hiroshima Fujita SC in round 7 of the Chugoku League on Sunday as they conceded seven for the second consecutive week - and have now lost four on the trot, leaving their season in tatters. It was Sagawa Kyubin Chugoku who handed out the spanking on this occasion, the boosting their goal difference potentially being vital as the title race hots up. The other two championship candidates both won more narrowly, FC Central Chugoku overcoming JFE Steel 2-0 while current leaders Fagiano Okayama squeezed past bottom side Hitachi Manufacturing Kasado 2-1. In the other match, Renofa Yamaguchi continued their promising season with a 3-1 victory over relegation candidates Iwami SC.
