Shikoku League - Round 7
A potentially momentous result at the top of the SHikoku League on Sunday, as previously unbeaten leaders Kamatamare Sanuki let slip an early advantage to lose 2-1 at home to their closest challengers, Ehime Shimanami. This closes the gap between the two to just two points, given that Nangoku Kochi's match with Sanyo Electric Tokushima was postponed. Elsewhere, Alex SC are to their credit now unbeaten in four matches after a draw with local rivals Tokushima Vortis Amateur, but Ventana AC have given themselves more of a chance of avoiding relegation thanks to a 4-0 win over bottom side Sanwa Club.
