Kansai League Division 2 - Round 8
Technonet Osaka retained their lead in Division 2 of the Kansai League after the round 8 fixtures over the weekend, beating Kihoku Football Group 3-1 in order to hold off the challenge of second-placed FC Kyoto BAMB 1993. After two consecutive draws, BAMB meanwhile went back to winning ways with a comfortable 4-0 triumph over a Kobe FC Senior C side already looking like relegation certainties, but the middle of the division is a lot closer, especially now that new boys Riseisha FC have climbed their way up to within two points of third place via their defeat of Hermano Osaka, not to mention Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Kobe's failure to beat Kohga School.
