Shikoku League
The top of the Shikoku League table clash on Saturday between Kamatamare Sanuki and shock challengers Tokushima Vortis Amateur was watched by a crowd of 900 people - and they were lucky enough to see a thrilling match, in which the lead changed hands no fewer than three times. But midfielder Yasuhiro Koide's goal ten minutes from time pulled 2006 champions Kamatamare level at 3-3 and that was how the scoreline remained.

But the draw between the top two teams means an opportunity for their rivals to close the gap. Nangoku Kochi and Sanyo Electric Tokushima now lie just a point behind the frontrunners, after victories against Ventana AC and Sanwa Club respectively. In the fourth match of the round 4, Ehime Shimanami finally shook off what has been a very disappointing start to the season, as they recorded an 8-1 thrashing of Tokushima Comprille SC.
