Tochigi Name-change Plan
JFL outfit Tochigi SC, who are hoping to achieve a J-League place in 2008, have announced their intention to change the club's name. Tochigi are to invite suggestions from members of the public and fans living around their home prefecture, with the aim of coming up with something that encapsulates the notion of a fresh start and the birth of a local J-League team which can represent everyone in the community. It is undecided yet as to whether the club will use the new name for the 2007 season.
