Tohoku League Division 2 (North)
Tohoku League Division 2 (North) leaders FC Akita Cambiare dropped their first points of the season on Sunday, in a surprise 1-1 draw at mid-table Fuji Club 2003. Despite second-placed Mizusawa United Club's win over Hokuto Bank, however, Cambiare remain ten points clear and are confirmed paticipants in the play-offs for a place in the top division for next season. Fighting it out to avoid the drop are Aster Aomori, crushed 8-2 at home by Tono Club, and TDK Shinwakai, who look as if they may struggle to retain their placein the Regional leagues following their defeat at the hands of Vanraure Hachinohe.
