Four goals from striker Ryo Mizutani helped Shizuoka FC to their biggest win of the year in the last match of the 2006 Tokai League Division One campaign, relegated ACM Central from nearby Fujieda suffering a ten-goal crushing on the way. Shizuoka will regard the match only as good preparation for next weekend's Emperor's Cup clash against J2 side Mito Hollyhock, for it means nothing in the context of the league - FC Gifu are title winners, but rather allowed their season to peter out with a damp squib of a 1-1 draw at home to Sagawa Kyubin Chukyo.
