JFL - Round 24 (Midweek)
A goalless draw in the final JFL match of round 24 between strugglers Sagawa Printing and FC Ryukyu probably suits both sides, meaning as it does that they both ease that little bit further away from the relegation play-off zone currently occupied by Honda Lock and Mitsubishi Mizushima. After a disastrous start to the season - they were rock bottom at the end of May - Sagawa have slowly begun picking up points and now have just one defeat in their last five matches. Ryukyu have found it hard to move out of the bottom four but similarly now have one loss in seven, meaning that it is FC Kariya who are moving in the wrong direction and look likely to drop into the bottom two should Mitsubishi in particular notch a win or two.
