Tokai League champions Shizuoka FC lost to two J-League reserve sides over the weekend, as Jubilo Iwata won 2-0 on Saturday 12th before Nagoya Grampus 8 gained a narrow 3-2 victory the following day. Meanwhile Sagawa Kyubin Chugoku played a 3 x 30mins friendly against Ehime FC reserves on Sunday 13th, but crashed to a 5-1 defeat. Most significantly, on the same day, fellow Chugoku League side Fagiano Okayama were dealt a 4-1 beating by a further side hoping to make the JFL by the end of the year, Banditonce Kobe from Kansai.
