There was a major sensation in the Shikoku League on Sunday, as champions Tokushima Vortis 2nd were held to a goalless draw by Ehime Shimanami... this allowed Kamatamare Sanuki to move into top spot and the Kagawa side took the opportunity only too happily, beating Ventana AC 5-0... in a day of derbies, Nangoku Kochi got the better of their weaker neighbours Showa Club and Sanyo Electric Tokushima gained their expected win over Tokushima Comprille SC...

Vortis and Kamatamare are thus the only teams with 100% records... but former top dogs Nangoku Kochi sank into the bottom half of the table following their draw against Ventana AC...
